Proceeds from the Wenatchee Thanksgiving Challenge race, in addition to the food drive, will benefit the North Central Washington Food Distribution Center. The Distribution Center provides food to eleven different food banks in Chelan and Douglas Counties. The Distribution Center collects and supplies approximately 1.3 million pounds of food per year to needy individuals in our area. Participants who bring a non-perishable food item will be eligible for drawings for prizes from sponsors including Mission Ridge, Arlberg Sports, and Set Coaching. The Distribution Center is particularly in need of proteins (canned fish, meets and beans) and baby food.

The entity putting on the run is SET coaching, PLLC, a Washington corporation.
